How we met: Matts version
Before starting another semester, it seemed like a good idea to head out for a few nights to enjoy the freedom from school while we still had it. Little did I know it, but that night at dinner I would meet the woman who would steal my heart. She was 5' 2 and a 1/4" and had one of the prettiest smiles I've seen. After meeting her the first time, I knew it would only be a matter of seeing her again before we'd start our trip down the road of being together forever. Little did I know that my daughter Madeline (Mo-Mo as she affectionately calls herself) would join in for the event as well. Between the two beautiful ladies in my life, I don't think I could be a luckier man.
How we met: Danessa's version

Matt and I met at Purdue University in 2007. I went to Purdue on a Friday night and actually met Matt through a mutual friend. After going out to dinner & celebrating one of Matt's friend's birthday we all decided to go out for a few drinks. Of course, I thought Matt was gorgeous and incredibly intelligent. We had great conversation and had a lot in common. Unfortunatly, Matt thought I was loud and talked too much...about myself. Actually, I remember thinking he rambled too much about some kind of xray electrons and protons that bounced off each other...blah, blah, blah. Fortunately the more he talked, the more I starred, at him...of course! We decided to exchange numbers that night since I would be returning to Purdue the next weekend to see The Fray in concert and hopefully hang out again.
The next weekend I called him to hang out after the concert and I met up with Matt and a bunch of his friends at "The Cactus," a bar at Purdue. We pretty much hit it off that weekend.
From that moment, I knew there was something so special about him. I remember thinking, "I'm not letting this guy go anywhere...he's mine!"
And the rest is history...

We're making it official.

Since September, Matt and I have discussed making our family official. The past two months have been back and forth about where and when to have the wedding. After several weeks of looking at different locations, vendors, and dates...we have decided to create a blogspot in order to update our friends and families about the BIG day!
